GLACIER'S CHALLANGE!
All the lifts in the Val di Fassa, from San Pellegrino Pass to Canazei are open; the slopes are safe and in perfect conditions. FromĀ Monday 1stĀ March you can try the thrill of skiing on the greatest glacier of the Dolomites, on the North mountainside of the Marmolada. A skiing adventure that starts from Pian dei Fiacconi at 2.625 metres and goes down till the Fedaia Pass, on a historical slope reachable by an old-fashioned 2 passenger gondola lift, one of the last in Italy. It's a real paradise for the fans of the off-piste and of ski mountaineering. It is the mountain of Tone Valeruz who performed the descent of its North face for the first time in 1969. Skiing on the imposing "Queen of the Dolomites", sliding on the shining, almost marbled snow mantle of its glacier, and embracing at a glance the most beautiful peaks, from the Sella Massif to the Tofane in an endless panorama, is an unforgettable experience.
